Responsibilities
- Operate the crane within the crane's designed load capacity, in accordance with weather conditions and sea conditions;
- Be alert to interactions with other cranes and intervene proactively to avoid any interference during simultaneous operations;
- Removing the installation or moving equipment in confined spaces and hard-to-reach locations can be a complex task;
- Perform load lifting procedures and install small and large objects on offshore platforms.
- Perform daily checks of the functionality of lifting equipment;
- Report incidents of unsafe work practices to designated supervision, among other inherent activities
Requirements
- 12th grade or university attendance in Mechanical Engineering;
- Lifting or Forklift Training;
- HSE training;
- Training course in advanced rope access techniques;
- Knowledge of moving and lifting loads;
- Experience with ropes in the last 6 months (proven in the IRATA logbook);
- Have IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2;
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality system;
- Fluent written and spoken English.
