The role?
An opportunity has arisen for a Field Technician/Machinist to join our Process and Industrial business line here at EnerMech. This is an offshore staff role with retainer salary and offshore daily allowances. The role will be to carry out the execution in conjunction with onshore support one of more Process & Industrial pre-commissioning services e.g. Nitrogen Services, Bolting, Machining, Jetting/Cleaning etc. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance programs and practices are followed to ensure maximum up time for all EnerMech equipment
- Problem solving, Inspection, Assembly and Repair on-site
- Workshop based duties, which include assisting with equipment function testing, and maintenance when required
- Supporting the Supervisor in the smooth running of the project by reporting any equipment and or client issues in an appropriate and timely manner
- Reading and interpreting isometric and P & ID Drawings
- Record all data required for job reporting as instructed by Supervisor
- Ensure all associated paperwork for role is complete and is presented to the Shift Supervisor
- Assisting with Mechanical teams as and when required maintaining offshore plant equipment
- Involved in various shutdown jobs offshore by performing servicing and troubleshooting of all rotating equipment
This role will include training of the successful candidate (if required) to be multi-skilled within the Process Services including Bolting, Leak testing, Flange Management etc.
You are?
To be successful for this role you will be a Machinist to trade and have relevant offshore industry experience. You will be competent with Process & Industrial equipment and able to understand P&IDs / Isometric drawings.
