The Mud Logging Analyst is responsible for providing a safe, efficient, and reliable work area for our customers. The GSS Mud Logging Analyst identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risks during the delivery of services. This individual monitors the well to provide timely and factual information to our customers; maintains sensors, equipment, and data acquisition equipment; and provides high-quality data to the customer at the well site.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Monitor, record and process well data and parameters, ensuring the integrity and reliability of well data.
- Compile the End of Well Report, ad hoc reports requested by clients and daily reports.
- Interact professionally with employees and customer representatives from other service companies at the well site.
- Maintain the confidentiality of customer data.
- Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
- Participate in job risk analyses and continuous improvement programs.
- Use PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain required safety training.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Geology
- Experience as a Mud Logging Analyst
- English desirable
