Responsibilities
- Directly manage and guide the team of painters, ensuring the proper execution of painting work on offshore platforms;
- Plan and coordinate the activities of preparation, application and inspection of industrial coatings and paintings;
- Ensure control of material and stocks, as well as orders according to needs;
- Take care of controlling machine records and their completion;
- Ensure the maintenance, organization and cleanliness of the resources made available to the group;
- Prepare monthly or quarterly reports of the activity assigned to you;
- Ensure periodic maintenance of equipment in the area, among other activities inherent to the area.
Requirements
- 12th grade or university attendance in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanics or similar areas;
- International NACE level I, II and III certificate.
- HSE or QA/QC Painting Inspector training;
- Professional experience in grain or sandblasting painting, metal spraying and inspection of metal structures, vessels in offshore installations;
- Specific knowledge of industrial stripping; Knowledge of personal protective equipment;
- Fluent spoken and written English.
