The role?
EnerMech are looking for Riggers to join our Cranes and Lifting department on a permanent basis. This role will be to join our flying squad operating ad-hoc trips offshore from Aberdeen. You will receive a retainer salary plus company benefits and day rates for any trips you commence. Main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the rigging / erection work scope is completed, in compliance with LOLER regulations and to a high standard of safety
- Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
- Understanding of and development of lifting plans
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team
- Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner
You are?
To be successful for this position you will have previous experience in a Rigging role and experience with inspection, service, repair and test of all rigging & lifting equipment. You will hold an OPITO Level 3 Rigging Assessment, a Banksman/Slinger certificate, BOSIET/FOET and an approved offshore medical. A Level 3 Diploma in Moving Engineering Construction Loads is preferred but not essential.
