Key Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, maintain and improve the Quality Management System on board, in compliance with applicable ISO Quality Standards, Quality Policies, Clients requirements, Rules and Regulations and company and corporate work instructions and standards.
- Manage and supervise the conformity and the effectiveness of the Saipem Document Management System with respect to the applicable Company Documentation (Manuals, Standards, Procedures, Work Instructions) and Clients requirements.
- Ensure that Saipem and quality documentation are properly distributed and implemented, as well as monitors that Vessel and Project Procedures are properly followed by relevant functions.
- Carry out Quality Orientation Training to QC department newcomers onboard, as well as Quality Induction to personnel working onboard whose activities could affect the integrity and the effectiveness of the Vessel Quality Management System.
- Manage and coordinate QC personnel working onboard the vessel.
- University Degree preferable. Diploma in Mechanical or Naval preferable.
- Certified Painting Inspector NACE Level-II or BGAS-GR-2 or equivalent.
- Certified Welding Inspection CSWIP 3.1 or AWS or equivalent.
- Preferred with NDT-ASNT-SNT-TC-1A 2001 Level-II for PT,MT,UT & RT. / PCN or equivalent
